Description:
"Tristan & Isolde" was Salvador Dali's(1904-1989) favorite opera. To honor the opera Dali designed this brooch of two figures in profile separated, lips barely touching, by a chalice. The brooch is 18 karat gold with a triangular buff brushed garnet and 33 full cut diamonds, approximately one carat. Signed "Tristan and Isolde", "After Dali" and "HK" for Henryk Kaston who fabricated all of Dali's jewelry in the late 1970's and 1980's until Dali's death in 1989.
